The Spark Behind the Sauce
When we got engaged, we knew we didn't want another pile of almonds in tulle or a candle that would sit in a drawer forever. We wanted a wedding favor that people would actually enjoy — something fun, personal, and a little unexpected.
We'd always been hot sauce enthusiasts (our first date was at a taco joint, after all), so the idea hit us like a habanero: custom hot sauce bottles with our names and wedding date.
We spent weeks sourcing the perfect small-batch sauces, designing beautiful labels, and obsessing over packaging. When we finally handed them out at our wedding, the reaction was electric. Guests were trading flavors, making jokes about “bringing the heat,” and a few even asked where they could order more.
That night, Spice Day was born.
